Customizing My Settings

It would be great if group managers could customize what information can be stored in My Profile. For example, professional communities may want to excluse information such as:
1. Birthday
2. Looking For
3. Interested In
4. Relationship Status
5. Personal Interests
6. Schools Attended
7. Shared Connections
8. Shared Objective
9. Status
10. Gender
If there is a way to customize this already, please forgive my ignorance as a new user.
