Limited Access to Home Page for Marketing Purposes

Hello,
I use Groupsite for an invite-only professional coaching group. For marketing purposes, I would like to give prospective members a "snapshot" of the home page of my Groupsite page that is functional (ie, not just a static PDF of the page) but does not allow them to actually browse inside all of the tabs.
Is this possible? I have seen it done before but can't figure out how to do it.
Thanks for your help!
Danielle

Hi Danielle.
You would need to set the Groupsite visibility settings to “limited”. A potential member will be able to view only the summary page, but if he/she clicks anywhere else, the system brings them to the “Join” tab, since your site also is set up to allow membership by invitation or by request. I just tried to go to your Groupsite, and I could only view the Summary Page, and when I tried to click on any of your tabs, i was redirected to the Join This Group Page.
I believe this is what you want to happen. Is there another result that you are trying to achieve?
Thanks, Celeste. I do have my settings on Limited already.
Were you able to view the home page to my site if you select Visit Groupsite from the directory "summary" page? When you mean "summary" page, do you mean the actual main page/home page of my site (where it shows all my tabs, members, etc) or the mini-page as it is listed in the directory? Does that make sense?
Danielle
Hi Danielle,
I had the same result from visiting your Eatsmart Groupsite via the directory from our marketing site (www.groupsite.com) as well as going directly to your Groupsite using your Groupsite's URL eatsmart.groupsite.com. In both cases,I am only allowed access to your home page (sometimes called summary page). If I try to click on any other tab, I am directed to the Join This Groupsite page.
When you access your Groupsite from the Directory Page of our marketing site, click on the button that looks like this:
This will take you only to the home/summary page of your Groupsite while the visibility settings are "limited".
Perfect! Thank you!
You're welcome!
