Statistics module not working -- again

Every time I try to check our site statistics I get a "sorry, our servers are going collaboration crazy" error message. Doesn't matter what day or what time I check, I get the same message. Is anyone else having this problem trying to check their site statistics?

Yes, I am also getting server errors more times than not lately when attempting to view stats.
Sorry for the trouble. It sounds like the information is taking too long to load, and the request "times out" so you can't access the page. We're looking into this under Ticket #2267 and hope to have it fixed soon.
Diana, was this ever resolved?
I've been experiencing this problem all morning.
Also, on a slightly different topic...
Will the statistics show me cumulative number of comments on all forums and discussion topics? I'm trying to get a broad view of how many members, topics, comments, and pageviews since site launch or over a given period of time. I want to get a picture of the active users vs. passive users -- how many people are engaging with the community vs. those who are just lurking.
Thanks!
Hi, Joe -
Your premium statistics will show total page views of different areas of your Groupsite (discussions, calendar, and blog, for example). Statistics do not include cumulative numbers of comments broken down by forum and/or topic. I agree a high level summary of this type of information would be a useful management tool; it may be something we include in Statistics in the future.
Regarding resolution: thanks for your continued patience. It's not fully resolved yet, but you should see some improvements soon. We'll keep you posted when those changes are made.
An update: you should find that you can now access your main statistics page (MANAGER > Group Settings > Statistics link). The request shouldn't time out, but the data may take some time to load. Requests for Demographics, Page Views and Email/Invitation stats may still time out; we're continuing our work on the fix for this. (Ticket #2267)
I'm still having problems with statistics. The demographics stats come up but not the other tab.
Hi Kevin,
Are you referring to the Member Engagement tab?
Celeste
Hi Kevin,
Although we are still working on a Feature Enhancement Ticket for Statistics, this should now be working, with limited historical statistics, until the stats conversion is finished (late November 2010 timeframe).

I'm have a problem with the Members count area. It seems to be stuck on 232. HELP!
Hi Barbara,
I am sorry for the trouble! We are aware of this issue. It is currently an open issue on ticket # 2294. The member count on your manage members page is correct. The member number reflected in the "This Group Consists of Module" is not correct due to some cache issue that we are tracking down. We apologize for the inconvenience!
Sincerely,
Celeste Sharper Wooten

Thanks Celeste...
