Custom Message for Membership Request Email

I'd like to customize the message people get when they request membership to my groupsite. My groupsite is private, and you have to join our organization and pay the yearly dues to join. I'd like to say this when someone requests to join...is there a way to customize the message that goes to someone who's just requested membership to a private groupsite?

I'm on board with Scott's idea. I think it would be great to be able to save and then choose custom emails. Currently, I save them in word and copy and paste the text into a new message.
