Lost content - IE - HTML and Basic Editor Tabs

ACK!!!! 45min of work is gone....
I am using Internet Explorer 7 and here are the exact steps I did:
I created a blog post using the "HTML Source" tab. I entered the following in this order:
- paragraphs of text, including lists, links
- embedded video widget
- more text
I then clicked on the "Basic Editor" tab to check what it looked like and to add "bolding" where appropriate.
I then clicked save.
All that was left was the embedded widget and the text after it....
uggh.... And this is NOT the first time it has happened. The result is that all content prior to the embedded video widget gets wiped out when a person goes from HTML tab to "Preview" or any other editor tabs. It only works if when you're done editing you simply click save.

Hi, Sarah - Sorry for your difficulty. I'm not able to duplicate this issue, using either IE or Firefox. I'm not sure if:
My hope is that whatever caused the issue for you was resolved in Ticket #1766.
If this is still happening for you, please let us know:
- in what Groupsite(s)?
- does it also happen when you use Firefox, or just IE7?
Thanks for the response Diana - I have tested this exhaustively and found something that I can duplicate (on PC in both IE and Firefox and in any groupsite).
Here was my test using video embed code from this Champions page:
Note: including a div AFTER the embed video code and editing with basic editor works just fine. Paragraph, Lists and Table tags (before or after a video) don't appear to cause any problem either. It appears to be only caused by DIV tags appearing in the code before the embed code. In my original post I had 1 DIV tag and a lot of paragraphs, lists and a couple of tables - all were wiped out due to the 1 DIV tag before the embed code.
Hi, Sarah - Thanks for a very good report and taking the time to figure out exactly how to reproduce it. I've confirmed this is a bug in the editor on our end, and opened Ticket #2122 to get it fixed.
