What things do you feel a manager should do to help make a Groupsite for a membership group as effective as possible?

I agree. We started integrating the introducing Groupsites video into the general discussions area of all new groups that are created. We've noticed an increase in engagement since we decided to do that. Perhaps it makes sense for us to add a link at the top of each new users welcome email that directs them to view the video.
That sounds great, Clarence. This will keep folks from having to look around for something once they get to the network site. For groups that plan on large memberships, it would be a HUGE timesaver to also have a personal letter go out from the network administrator/manager. What do you think?
