All Members being tagged as from United States

The "join" procedure means that all of my members are being labelled as being from the United States. This is frustrating as my group is a) australian and b) limited to a state in Australia. It used to be that people could select country on joining up.

I didn't see a response on this. Do I need to create a new project request? This should not be difficult since it was all there before, can we simply ask the groupsite manager if they want to ask for this information during the join process? It is critical to us that new members get prompted when joining with the screen that asks for professional contact info like city, state, website, etc.
