Social Network defaulting to professional profile in Featured Member

On the main page where I have a member spot light. The professional profile displays. Most of the members do not have professional profiles as it is turned off intentionally.

Hi, Curvie. I've opened ticket #1981 to see if we can improve this. I'm not sure if it's a bug or a design flaw -- the module may not today be designed to follow the Groupsite's default profile setting. I agree that it makes sense that it should.
Diana, I hope you are well and had a great weekend. Spring is definitely here in Plano, TX. We are looking at a week full of 80 degree days.
Any news on this issue? Is it in a que somewhere or is it not significant enough to to hit the priority list?

Hi, Curvie - I'm sorry we haven't gotten to this yet, but it's not forgotten. We do have a support request in and hope to take a look at this soon.
As for Spring, I'm definitely enjoying good weather here, too. (I was beginning to think shoveling snow should be a new Olympic sport!)
We will post here to let you know when this issue is fixed and sorry for the delay.
Had not heard anything on this issue and decided to checkin on it. It is still a major problem for us. The Burtonfamily.groupsite is a social site. When I highlight a member, the system uses their professional profile.
What's the status?
