I have a particularly pertinent calendar discussion happening and yet it does not appear in the summary on the front page. Is there any way to have this discussion become more obvious?

Diana - Are you trying to highlight a Discussion Topic or a Calendar Event?
In either case, you may want to create a Free-form text module on your SUMMARY page that mentions the area you want to highlight and hyperlink to it.
Here is a post that may help: http://champions.groupsite.com/post/manager-tip-the-power-of-hyperlinks-2

I read the two postings and it's not quite what I'm looking for.
We posted a calendar item and there is a comment thread connected to the calendar item that is not a discussion thread and does not show up in the discussion summary. I don't want to do anything obvious to highlight the discussion like moving it to a thread (though checking a HL box would be ok if it existed) but would like to know if there is anything I can do to have it show up on the front page either with the discussion thread or something to indicate that if they click on the calendar item there is a conversation there. It's like a hidden comment area.
