Can I use member logins to authenticate on another service

I am looking to set up a couple of private services for my groupsite members (jobs board and referral service). Is it currently possible for member logins to be extracted in such a way as to use as the login for the jobs board or referral site. Then I could simply say "use your groupsite login" to access the service. I am not a technical user.
The ideal solution would be that when they have logged in to groupsite, they are automatically logged in to the jobs board/ referral site, even though these would have to be hosted separately.

We currently don't provide the ability to use the Groupsite.com platform as an authentication service for remote applications. However, that being said, you do have the ability to export a listing of users in your group. You can use that list as the basis for importing users (sans passwords of course) into a remote service.
that is a good point - could create "usernames" using that list - Thanks Bryan
