Rookie ideas...

New guy here. Wanted to toss these ideas around, see what everyone thinks...
I've been playing around with Groupsite for few days and found couple features that would make it possibly a better product.
1) Multiple calendars - if you have a large group with many event entries posted it creates clutter on the calendar. If you had a choice of what kind of calendar you'd like to view this would reduce clutter. For example you could have one calendar called Family Outings and another one called Group Outings. You pick Family Outings and you only see events related to these outing, you pick Group Outings and you only see Group Outings. Clutter GONE!
2) Sub-groups
I understand you could practically create 10s or 100s of Groupsites but there is no way to link or relate each group to another one (that I know of). It would be nice to be able to create a parent Groupsite with multiple children sub-groupsites. How would you use this? In a regional setting you could have a Pennsylvania Groupsite (Parent) and a Sub-Groupsites (children) for Philadelphia, Pittsburg, Harrisburg and other major cities all linked to each other but not fully independent or standalone. The Parent moderator/admin has full control over all children and can assign limited rights to moderators for each child. Right now each Groupsite is built as an orphan.
3) Classifieds
I think most Groups whether hosted here or elsewhere at some point evolve and turn into communities. As they evolve an addition of a classifieds module or similar functionality would be a great asset. This would prevent users from simply using the discussion forum as means of posting for sale/wanted/personal ads. The "classifieds" section should be customizable so admins can modify it to their liking. For example if you have a Groupsite for Runners who are looking for running partners wouldn't it be nice if users could enter a "looking for running partner" ad and have it fully searchable by location/neighborhood, age range, gender, skill/level/experience, time of day as opposed to sorting through 100s of messages trying to find someone that is a good match for you?

I don't know if this is something I can't figure out or something that isn't possible, but I can't rearrange photos. I've added some new photos to show progress on a project and want to put the "before" next to the "after". I'm able to move photos to other folders but I can't rearrange within the same folder.

I set up a discussion forum as a makeshift "classifieds" section but I agree a feature of this sort would be fantastics. I imagine it would fall into the "premium features" category. Perhaps when the Cx API opens up, external developers will be able to create these features. Multiple calendars also makes sense. I post two types of events on my calendar 1) specific groups events 2) external events that group members might be interested in. Separating these might work nicely.
The enterprise edition might help you manage sub-groups??
