REAL html emails for marketing/branding effect
I send myself dummy emails and messages from my network to see how they look to potential or existing members. Calendar posts and discussions are html formattable, albeit VERY tedious to accomplish. Invitations, however, are not. Which brings up first impressions. When you want to do business you dress sharp because 1st impressions are everything. The first impression my invitees get is that there is no logo, no branding, no formatting.......just plain text. The CollectiveX system does not allow me to accomplish that. This does not help in marketing my group because people want to join attractive, branded organizations. This ultimately results as an opportunity cost relating to traffic: traffic and frequency of use does not increase as much as it could because less users joined, which impacts any revenues that CollectiveX might generate relating to traffic.
It seems odd that the calendar and posts CAN allow for this but the invitations, (which are relatively more important), do not. I see that any html I place in invitations is being escaped. Can we do something about this? At least allow it to be accomplished (and previewable), even if its time consuming.
Thanks!
Jonathan
