Multiple Email Addresses do not "stick"

I am connected three sites.  I select the email I want, hit update.  Go to another tab for fun.  Select another group.  Change preferences and change email address, update.  Go to another tab.  Go back and check preferences of the first group and my email has been changed.

It would seem I can only have one email connected to all three sites unless there is another way to update this preference.
