Complete Entries in Google Reader & Digests

I keep track of recent activity on my Groupsites via Google Reader.  I wish I could read the entire feed in Reader, rather than just a snippet.  It's a similar issue with the email digests that are sent out.  I find that the snippet of information given is frustrating and not helpful.  Anybody else finding this?  I would love to be able to open Google Reader on my iPhone or laptop and view all recent activity on my Groupsites in full and in one place without having to sign in to CollectiveX and view everything separately.
