Content Customization - Embed Code

I experimented with your widget that provides code to add a log-in box to a web page. However the link generated by the code is for the main collectivex.com site rather than our groupsite.

And when you get that resolved, can you share how to center that div once inserted.

Tom - that shouldn't be the case. Are you positive?  Within the code you'll notice that the link has the URL (subdomain) of your Groupsite.  Can you point me to a page where you've embedded it and it's not logging you into your Groupsite.

Clarence,

I published this test page where the code is embeded at the bottom of the page. There is the one link that allows me to log out directly to the groupsite.  But the collectivex logo links to collectivex.com and is more of an ad for collectivex than a convenience for our visitors and members.

Tom,

I just attempted to login using your test page without entering my password (since I am not a member of your groupsite) to see what would happen. I was redirected to the following page. Is this not the result you'd expect?

I'm not sure what are you referring to regarding the CollectiveX logo linking to CollectiveX.com If I were a member of your group I would have logged directly in to your groupsite.

Clarence,

I previously was only viewing the outcome in LOGGED-IN mode.  Now I see that LOGGED-OUT mode is much different and provides easy log-in.  And only when logged in does the aforementioned collectivex link appear.

So I apologize for my confusion and appreciate your responsiveness.

Now that I get it, I am still reluctant to use this tool.  I fear we would be confusing some who remain logged-in mode and visit visit the public home page.  While being logged-iin, I expected to be sent to the community when clicking on the CX logo.

I see this as a nice short cut for those who want to log in from the association's public home page.  But potentially confusing for others who are always in the logged in state. For me, I'd like to see the CX logo link to our groupsite to avoid potential confusion.

All that said this is not a critical feature for us.  A nice-to-have. Not a must-have.
