Using Groupsite data
Hello again!
So my question today relates to the exportable data that is available on the groupsites. We're thinking about using that data to cross reference users from another one of our sites. In other words, we want to see if, based on the email address submitted through our other site, they are a member of our CollectiveX Groupsite.
Using the exportable data is really awesome, and we plan on at least using that. But, we wonder, is there another way to get the data directly from CollectiveX in real time without downloading the xml or csv file over and over again? I guess the simplest thing I can think of is any sort of API or a groupsite sql user with only the 'SELECT' privilege.
Thanks again for answering all my questions, I know they can be a bit brash at times.

Does anyone have any information on this? Or for that matter, experience using the data exports in realtime?
I have the same question, and I think access to this information can provide extremely high value without sacrificing the simplicity for those who will never use it.
Scott and Joshua - I agree that this is a good idea. Immediate challenge is getting everything done with regard to requirements internal to our system before we can spend too much time with reqirements outside our system. We are working on standardizing our API for the use of some of our larger clients and as soon as we complete that work we can look for ways to expose that API to all of our Groupsites Pro accounts.
