Cookie cutter features for all groups

"Title" can mean many things to many people.  It is used on a member profile.  My group requires a person to state their occupation to become a member.  Some list "President' or "Manager".   I suppose thaey are referring to the company.  I'd love to be able to change or have this changed to state or mean "Occupation".  What is to keep someone from using Title to list "Sir, Mr, Mrs, Dr., Rev., etc?  You get the idea.  I have to use is as a way to list or mean your occupation.  "President"  a "Manager" or "Owner" is NOT an occupation, and it is tough to see that every complies.   Managers need to be able to have some options as to wording used for their members on their group.  I know, that Collective X is going to say that this can't be done, but I am speaking my mind just the same. Cookie cutter or take it or leave it is not a good option for all groups.  Thanks.
