how to detarmine blog post description

Hello
When I make new post to my groupsite blog and feature it on my summary page it takes first "N" characters for description by default.
How can I change this and determine where to break the preview of the post?

Emil - I understand your question but, unfortunately, today we do not have a way to facilitate your request (short of cleverly padding the text of your introductory blog paragraph to align with the alloted space, which is probably too much trouble).
A fake out would be to create a freeform text module on your Summary page that contains the inro text you want visible and end it with "click here for more" which you could hyperlink to your complete blog post.
Just an idea.

Till this moment I was doing it the you you sugested with the freeform text, but desided to check wether there is simplier solution.
The idea works and it is fine!
