I've had this idea that it'd be fantastic if you could have unlimited subgroups & metagroup layers in the platform, with each layer being self-similar. To keep this simple, you might need a navigation system similar to a computer's file system, where you can navigate up a level, or browse subgroup folders.
One of the beauties of this is that you retain the full functionality of the main group at each layer & have the ability to form new meta-networks without changing your existing groupsite.
Thoughts?

What's the real world collaboration problem you are trying to solve?
Creating 3 levels of groups/subgroups.
Having a group that wants to join a network.
Having the same level of functionality in a subgroup as a group.
