Labeling subgroups

Hi,
My corporate alumni community continues to grow steadily. In the first place the community is meant for alumni. But to establish a connection with our company, we have decided to give our company executives also a profile.
It would be very useful, if we could label them with our company logo. So our alumni can clearly distinguish their former colleagues with our current employees.

This goes back to the issue of public and private custom profile fields, and how they could be positioned/rendered/displayed.
