We are putting together a piece on the effective use of third-party Widgets in Groupsites for an upcoming newsletter. Does anyone have any testimonials to share?
If you've used or represent any Widgets that you think have made an effective difference in a Groupsite, we'd love to hear from you.

I've used Sproutbuilder.com to build buttons that are hyperlinked to different sections in my groupsite; however, they have recently started charging for their widgets, so I recommend trying to find an alternative for free. - Jaime
I would love to learn how to do this. Have not been able to figure out how to for my group, OCTP. If anyone has time to help me with this I'd greatly appreciate it!

For Polls, I have successfully tested:

Vizu is preferred so far. After inserting using the Insert Video or Embedded Widget option on the Advanced Editor tab, CollectiveX does generate an error stating that it does not recognize the widget. But, as evidenced by the preview, it still works.
On the Word of Mouth Events List, we use Springwidget's Simply Hired widget to advertise job openings in the MD/DC area.

Does anyone know of a widget that works in CollectiveX that does ratings? We'd like to rate documents. Or is that already possible and I just don't know how to do it?

Could you use one one of the aforementioned polls?
I don't think so. I don't want to do a poll for each doc. I just want a simple 5-star rating for each doc.
Echoing Judy's request, but would really like that for ALL content items to increase member engagement.
