Hello,
When I try to load my Members Profile page on my groupsite, it gives the following message:
CollectiveX :: System Error
Whoops! Sorry, an error has occurred. We have already sent an email to our hardworking development team. Please use your Back button to go back to where you just were.
I waited a couple of days, bu there is no change.
My gorupsite is: www.bgtrainers.com

This is happening for me with "News Feed" module.
Sorry for the delay - this problem is now fixed.

Hi Shaun,
I still have this problem with Mamber Profiles:
http://www.bgtrainers.com/network
Unfortunately, there is some bad data in one of the member profile questions/answers which is crashing a system library responsible for cleaning up strings so that they can safely be used with JavaScript. According to the error, the culprit is a malformed UTF-8 string.
I'm looking into this to see what we can do about it.
I know that historically we have been very loose about what encoding goes in and out of the system. All of the pages are advertised as UTF-8 but we do not make any real attempts to perform character set conversion on user input. We do sanitize all HTML and Rich Text input for well-formedness and "allowed" and "disallowed" tags - but that is an entirely different subject matter and not related. I just wanted to make sure that nobody who knows about one or the other gets confused about which thing I was talking about.
Hi Joe
Lots of mambers put their data in profiles in Cyrilic and haven't got this problem till now.
For the reason you gave, I suppose the porblem is in a particular character, but I am not able to help you with that.
