Incorporation of monetization features

Most major platforms for blogs, social networks, content management, and bulletin/discussion boards permit the inclusion of running ads (creating ad inventory or using Google ad words or technologies like Kontera), leveraging lead generation technology etc. Most platforms do this via widgets or plugins. The most important thing is that these mechanisms allow the owner to earn revenue with their site/community. This should be attractive to ColleticeX as it is a way to take a piece of a large volume of revenue from community owners and incentives more people to become network owners.

We do plan to allow the inclusion of your own ads as part of the Ad-Removal premium feature soon.

This sounds exciting - what really excites me is the possibility that different groups within collectiveX might collaborate with other groups to advertise. For example, my group of Australian therapists/psychologists might advertise in Australian support groups. Business technology groups could advertise in young entrepreneur groups etc etc.

Is there any suggestion as to whether such inter-group collaboration/advertising will be possible?

Has this feature been implemented yet?  If so how/where do we add ad code?

You can now edit your footer ads directly, by either clicking the Edit Footer Advertisement button underneath the footer ad space, or by clicking Control Advertisements link the Group Settings area.

Soon, we will be adding the ability to maintain multiple ads, control ad rotation, manage multiple ad accounts, and more.
