We run a number of live weekly professional business networking meetings in multple locations and use CollectiveX to seamlessly flow information to and between all members regardless of their locations. At present we recreate each meeting in the calendar. It would be AWESOME to have recurring appointment functionality similar to an Outlook type interface where one could select or deselect "recurring appointment" and when selected have the option of frequency ie. every Thursday or 4th tuesday of each month, or every 25th of December, then have the appointment and relevant details self-propogate according to frequency.

i'd like this feature also
I agree that this would be a nice feature. We regularly have staff and dev meetings at the same time each week so being able to add a recurring event is much more efficient.
Guys, we agree 100% and are well aware of the need for re-occurring event functionality. I could use this feature myself. Consequently, it won't be long before we upgrade the calendar. When we do, expect to see re-occurring events as well as the ability to add a single event to multiple group calendars. We may also include a calendar list view in the next build as well.
We have a few major areas ahead of the calendar upgrade on the development priority list, but we haven't forgotten about this important feature. It should make all of our lives a little easier :-)
Once the calendar is re-visited, there are two things I would find useful:
1. Today's calendar events on the summary page (possibly in another color), rather than only upcoming events.
2. Being able to send an email reminder of an event to myself or the group: the day of, one day prior, two days prior, etc.
