Grant permissions on an individual basis

I'd like to see the ability to customize permissions for individual members.

This can be used for a number of purposes:

a) To reward active members, and give them a sense of ownership, without giving up all permissions.

b) To selectively delegate the task of keeping members engaged in specific areas (i.e. discussions, HOT links, relevant events).

c) To offer some level of control to organization members who feel like they shouldn't be catergorized as a "regular" member.

Thank you for opening up this type of discussion to users like myself. I see this as a major competitve advantage for CollectiveX, and glad to be a part of it. Keep up the great work!

Sulaman - I agree 100%. All of the reasons you listed are spot-on. Thanks for the positive words... it's loyal users like yourself, who provide feedback and suggestions, that give us a competitive advantage :-)

We will definately add more advanced permission controls in the not to distant future (as a premium option.) We first need to re-configure the Manager / Group Settings area (coming soon) so that we can allow room for more advanced options in a way that doesn't create confusion for less advanced managers.

I look forward to your continued feedback and suggestions.

Thanks Clarence, I look forward to seeing the progress in those areas. I also look forward to providing feedback and suggestions as I gain more activity knowledge with the CX application. Thanks!
