Alias email accounts

Assuming that I want to use widgets and services for each of my networks I will be registering using an email account. It would be great if each manager could create an email alias associated with networks they manage, and each Collectivex member could have an alias email for their person. That way all 3rd party widget accounts, subscriptions, feeds, and services could be tied in with a network or a Collectivex account.

We'll help you sue them. :)
Disclaimer: I'm joking. ;-)
Having the content within the email notification is certainly necessary. Thanks.
How about the ability to send an Email Blast to the group from email applications in particular such as Blackberries? Perhaps you can create an "alias" email that starts the email blast engine.
Many days I find it difficult to get to a regular PC and thus rely on my handheld for all communication. It would be helpful for my constituents to have the ability to email blast from PDAs. I realize that keeps a small few from hitting the site to send a message, but in the overall picture I don't think it will matter to page views. I do think, however, it will matter greatly to the members to have this abiliity even if used seldomly (like when your driving all day, out camping/hiking, stuck in an airport lounge, bored in a conference seminar, or at Yankee stadium).

Mark - buy an iPhone. This is the "are we a listserv" issue that we have been wrestling with. I completely understand the "on the road, no access to a PC" argument. At the same time, we have found that the engagement and trust levels within a Groupsite are much higher than a standard listserv. I don't know about you, but my inbox is a train wreck filled with way too much spam et all.
We are always open to feedback, as you know. That being said, simply recreating the broken Yahoo Groups model is not where we are heading.
Fair enough, although I wish Sprint could adopt the Iphone.
I did try to find previous discussions on email lists in the forum before I posted my prev reply and now that I know to search "listserv" I see that there are some discussions from 2007. So clearly CX has moved on without them. Keep in mind, this will put CX in competition with groups providers that allow this. Your referenece to Yahoo Groups is a good one to ponder Perhaps b/c the Yahoo groups users don't actually use the site much... just email back and forth. I'm willing to give it whirl w/out listservs.
Keep up the good work in getting V2 out the door.
