Yahoo & MSN Live Authentication problems

I just edited the Yahoo and Live authentication codes and ran into problems. There was a difference in what Yahoo gave me and what CollectiveX actually allowed me to input. I'm worried Yahoo won't recognize the meta tag now. See below:
Code Yahoo gave me:
<META name="y_key" content="d70a036e2229e618">
Code CollectiveX would only take (it added a space and a character which is in bold and enlarged):
<META name="y_key" content="d70a036e2229e618" />
Also, with MSN Live, it said the web address isn't valid. I had to take the "s" out of the https in order for it to work.

Well True.. First thing I noticed.. was that Yes.. the first line wasn't closed and needed to be. where as the second line was closed.. was there more to both of these code lines?.. For instance, with the first code line.. was it closed and you just left off the "close your code"?
Because, typically all codes need to be closed.. in order to work correctly. Thou did you try both lines?. and both didn't work?.. Then it may not be the correct code line to began with.
