Manager defined paging/view item qty

I am always frustrated about the paging and items viewable for the discussion threads, member lists, etc. Allow Community managers to determine the number of results displayed on the different pages.

CLARIFICATION: What I mean is that I have to click too many times to see an entire list of discussion threads or members. Sometimes I just want to see the whole list without the paging.
Thanks for the feedback. This is an area we plan to significantly improve over time. Hopefully, by the end this week you'll see some major improvements in this area.
Hmm, I need to make a clarification too.
I was talking about discussion area improvements mostly.
Although, it would be interesting to allow managers to customize some of this stuff in other areas.
I agree that unless you have an enormous number of discussion threads, they should be displayed on a single discussion page.
As for member profiles, depending on the size of the group, I reckon that search/browse functions should be more prominent. Even with a group of 80 is it kinda pointless just looking at a list or their avatars. Perhaps a tag cloud (if members are able to "tag themselves" or advanced search functions. If I am going to the members page it is because I am after someone with specific talents/expertise. I need to be able to search/browse that on a single page.
Tag clouds will be coming soon. Also, you can already search from the members page using the search in the sidebar. It works great, and in fact I've enhanced the search even more as of a few days ago. You can even search on a member's contact information provided that they haven't hidden it.
Hi Joe - the search does work well (congratulations!) and I have always been pleased with the results. In my mind it needs to be more prominent on the search page especially when numbers of members is overwhelming. Can I call mine an "expertise cloud"??
