Custom profile fields

Each CollectiveX group is different with a different focus. That means that certain information about members may be more relevant in some communities than others. My wife runs a social network of Brazilians who are married to foreigners. Members are mainly interested in:
* Country/State/City where born, where grew up, where live now
* Husbands nationality
* How long they have know their husband
These profile fields are absolutely critical to the interaction of members.

Jonathan,
Thanks to custom questions. You wife is now able to customize and create new profile questions for her group members to answer.
She can accomplish this by going to Manager/Group Settings under Member Profile Customization.
In the near future... we will be adding new member profile template variations for each group type.
Yes, but there are no pre-determined lists, no checkboxes, no radio buttons, no dropdowns etc etc. I need to restrict what users select and enter to some extent.
Actually, Jonathan, everything mentioned above exists except that we don't do radio buttons - we do dropdowns instead.
To do checkboxes - Select Multiple Choice and check the box that says "Let them pick more than one"
To do dropdowns - Select Multiple Choice
If you're having trouble using this feature, let me know and I can help.
But the things you are asking for definitely exist already.
Fields need to be able to be marked private or public. That is, certain profile fields may capture information that is relevant to the owner but not to the other members. EX: "How did you find our about our group or who referred you to our group". This is useful information for group manager but not information that other members should be privy to.
