Create Email Blast based on Member Filter Q&A

Now that the filter based on member Q&A is repaired, is it possible to use this filter in the Email Blast Creation?
That way I can send Email Blasts to sub groups with information specially for them.

Has this question been answered? I'd like to have the ability to send email blasts, discussions, etc. to people fitting a particular filter criteria without having to create a subgroup for those people. Additionally, I'd like to have the ability to send an email blast, discussion, etc. to folks who are filtered OUT of a certain criteria...that is those people who DON'T fit a criteria.
By the same token is it possible to create a subgroup based on folks fitting OR NOT fitting a certain filter criteria?
Hope this isn't too confusing. Let me know and I'll provide examples of my concerns/needs.
