Manager functions - ability to customize?

Is there an ETA as to when manager functions will be more customizable. Currently it appears to be an "all or nothing" which I don't mind, except for the option that allows the manager to delete the groupsite.

Not sure I completely understand the question. Can you give a few examples o what you are trying to do?

Hi Shaun,
I'd like to assign managers to the groups but prevent them from accessing specific functions such as: the ability to upgrade/downgrade the site (especially since it's on someone else's account". Also prevent them from deleting the groupsite (an option available on the "Upgrade Groupsite" page.

Got it. Yes, I agree. This would help a lot of groups. I am reluctant to state an "ETA" but will say that this is something we want to incorporate with our permission tags when we finally go live with them.

Have the permission tags been upgraded yet?
Hi, Mary Ann. Permission tags have not been upgraded. We do intend to implement this feature or a suitable alternative at some point in the future.
Is this functionality available yet? We would also like to be able to set different levels of permissions for managers. For example, we don't want all managers to be able to change the Group or Subgroup settings or to be able to delete a Subgroup.

Hi Trish,
There have been additional Manager-Level Controls added to the Groupsite Enterprise Platform Only. The Enterprise Platform accommodates "Observers" who can see what happens in all Groupsites associated with that Enterprise account, but cannot make changes. No additional manager-level controls have been added to the Self-Serve Platform.
