Remove Profile Completeness box once at 100%

Or can it be optional to have the Profile completeness box at all? It is in prime real estate and not useful to me or my group at all.

Thanks for your reply. Could it please be noted or put onto a list for a later edit? I don't see why people need to see a photo of themselves on each page, especially in the top right-hand corner.

Already noted Thembi.  After your post, we had some discussions about how we could utilize that space for future enhancements... we do agree it is prime real estate. 

My suggestion is for a "Status" type update section where a member can quickly post about what they are doing, upload a file, add a calendar event.

Have two new sites - a ning refugee - and I'm pretty happy with it all  except for that crazy profile box. Ridiculus waste of space, and I don't really want to see my own picture. Or what update I did recently. (I think I can remember that much)

We are also interested in removing the profile completeness box from the home page. As previously stated, it occupies very valuable real estate on the home page and there are several different modules that we would like to replace it with.  Has there been any effort to make this change?

I appreicate your help with this issue.

Hi Jake,

Yes, just recently (June 27, 2011), our CEO asked us to bump this up in priority. He also recognizes that it is prime real estate.

The plan is to treat this area like any other content module on the Summary Page with the ability to  delete and replace with another content module.  I do not have a time frame for this to be implemented, but the priority has been bumped.

Well, how about just give the option to remove it totally, I mean, regardless if that's completed or not. You can just place this at "My profile settings" page (just a suggestion).
