Here's how you can categorize the subgroups in your Groupsite:
1. Click the SUBGROUP tab
2. Select "Subgroup Controls"
3. On the Subgroup Controls page select "Categories"
4. Select "New Category"
5. Type in your category name and hit SAVE. (Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each category you need)
6. Once you have created all your categories, you can then assign each subgroup to a specific category on the Subgroup Admin page by going to the Subgroup's homepage and clicking the "Subgroup Admin" subtab to the far right of the sub-navigation bar. There is also an "Edit Categories" link on this page which helps if you need to make updates in the future.
