Unlike other "social networks," Groupsite.com itself is not a destination. We are a platform that allows you to create your own destinations, called Groupsites. Each Groupsite is its own individual collaboration community; but, all Groupsites sit on our platform.
What happens when you belong to more than one Groupsite? First of all, you only need a single user name and password to enter any of your Groupsites. Additionally, once you are logged in, you can select "View All" mode. "View All" mode gives you a birds-eye view across all of the Groupsites to which you belong.
Here's how:
The key is in our "Switch Groupsites" button at the top right corner of any Groupsite page.
By clicking on the "Switch Groupsites" button, you will see a drop-down list of all of the Groupsites in which you are a member of (listed under the "My Groupsites" title, as well as a "View All" title, at the very top with a single selection beneath it called "(Your Name)'s Groupsite.com Network."
By selecting the "(Your Name)'s Groupsite.com Network" option, you will be taken to View All mode.
There are 4 easy ways to find what you want when in View All mode:
1. SEARCH - Enter in any term or phrase your are looking for and when you hit "Go" you will see a list of every time your search criteria appears across all of your Groupsites!
2. COMMUNICATE, SHARE and NETWORK tabs - Selecting any of these tabs will take you to a combined view of all of your groups' postings. As an example, the Calendar will show every event posted to all of your Groupsites.
3. Recent Activity Tabs - Just like the recent activity modules you are used to on the SUMMARY page of each of your Groupsites, you can use these tabs to show only certain kinds of activity across all of your Groupsites.
4. Action Buttons - Allow you to take action right from this page. When you select one of these "action" buttons, you will be taken directly into the appropriate Groupsite to the section where you can quickly complete the task at hand (view a profile, reply to a topic, download a file and much more.
To go to a specific Groupsite, you can always select the "Switch Groupsites" button and easily jump to the Groupsite of your choosing.
