How to Delete a Calendar Event

To remove an event from the calendar:

1. Go to the SHARE tab. This will bring up your group calendar in "month" view.

2. Locate the day of the event you want to delete.

3. Click on the actual event box. The event will "open" to display details and links including "Edit," "Clone" or "Delete."


4. To remove the event, choose "delete."

5. A pop-up box will open. Click the link to confirm the "delete" action.


Tip: If the event you want to delete does not appear in the current month view, hover your cursor over the calendar's heading, "October 2009," for instance. This action produces a drop-down list that makes it easy to select another month's view.

If you don't have the ability to add or delete calendar events, it may be that your Groupsite managers have restricted this permission to managers, only.

    Thank you! I added the event and it is to occur yearly, somehow, it is showing all 3 (three) years on the front page.
